This is a whole-night ballet in two parts, that tells Gershwin's life from the beginning until his death (1898-1937) through dance. The Gershwin Story uses the composer's own music for example the Cuban Overture, piano concerto in F major, Blue Rhapsody, variation of "I got Rithm" and "Porgy and Bess". The piano concerto in F major tells Gershwin's life through failure and success following his carrier from leaving Russia until his death. His symphonies are independent ballets that tell different stories. Gershwin's life in ballet with Gershwin's music has never been presented on stage before so it could be said rightly that the Gershwin Story is a premiere of its kind. Gershwin's wonderful melodies with our choreography, scenery and costumes create a really wonderful performance which hopes to attract international interest as well. The ballet is a tribute to Gershwin's musical talent.
